The Coface country rating aims at evaluating the average credit risk of companies in a given country. The rating is based on economic, financial and political data. In this issue: Growth in emerging countries is estimated by Coface for 2010 at 6.3%. Asia is showing sustained yet foreseen growth levels. Good news comes from Latin America, which is set to reach a level of growth of 5.1% in 2010; that is practically a return to the pre-crisis level (5.5% in 2007).
