At the core of digital resilience
With around 100 alerts to manage every day and around 20 incidents to investigate every month, Yoann's role is mainly to protect Coface's information system against cyber attacks, while ensuring that it is constantly adapted to new threats and integrating smarter protection features.
His main challenge on a daily basis?
It's detecting real attacks among hundreds of alerts every day. Thankfully, here we have Next Gen tools to help us manage millions of logs (user activity reports). It's a bit like looking for a needle in a haystack!
AI as an ally... and main enemy!
Faced with increasingly sophisticated threats that exploit cutting-edge technologies, Coface is relying on artificial intelligence to optimise the robustness of its cyber defence solutions. “In my field, we are constantly enhancing our security systems and relying on artificial intelligence experts to raise our level of cyber threat prevention and detection.”
A vital issue for companies
As Yoann points out, cybersecurity is no longer just a matter for IT teams. It has become a major concern in the daily lives of business leaders. Ransomware and AI attacks can seriously impact a company's business and even threaten its survival.
Today, many companies are going out of business following successful attacks, in most cases with financial losses, which may also be accompanied by data or technology theft.
